"It's More Than A Day,But A Lifetime"
"We will not resort to violence. We will not degrade ourselves with hatred. Love will not be returned with hate."
-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The nation thought it not robbery to celebrate the life, struggle and death of the man who changed the face of the world. Not since Jesus Christ died on Calvary's mount has another human being deserved as much praise as the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
A man of strength, tenacity, love and honor. He was solid and just as perfect. He gave his life so that we-- not just blacks (colored), but all mankind can have equal shares of everything on earth.
It is deserving for all of us and those that abide my the laws of God and the land to get a privileged education, live harmoniously, live free and unworried.
Equality for all. Justice for all.
It all started on January 20, 1986 where they began to celebrate Dr. King's birthday. That is a day set aside for us to reflect on his beliefs and struggles. But it should last a lifetime for us to celebrate in love and unity.
