Today after I awoke from my sleep, I was summoned through a text message to pray for a family that is going through. Usually I would think I am the last person to be called upon, funny thing is -I wasn't. I can say that I am a prayerful person, I don't have many things to complain about at this present day. As I get older, I see great things ahead of me. More surprisingly, I can see God allowing others to take notice. "God just keeps on, doing GREAT THINGS FOR ME".

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character...
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day the state of Alabama ... will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!
Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California!
But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!
Let freedom ring from every hill and mole hill of Mississippi.

The nation thought it not robbery to celebrate the life, struggle and death of the man who changed the face of the world. Not since Jesus Christ died on Calvary's mount has another human being deserved as much praise as the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
A man of strength, tenacity, love and honor. He was solid and just as perfect. He gave his life so that we-- not just blacks (colored), but all mankind can have equal shares of everything on earth.
It is deserving for all of us and those that abide my the laws of God and the land to get a privileged education, live harmoniously, live free and unworried.
Equality for all. Justice for all.
It all started on January 20, 1986 where they began to celebrate Dr. King's birthday. That is a day set aside for us to reflect on his beliefs and struggles. But it should last a lifetime for us to celebrate in love and unity.

What if you were told you have but a few weeks to live? What would you do? Would you give up on everything you built your life upon, being afraid, deceitful or evil? Or would you go on believing that after all you have endured, living life to the fullest is the better solution? Not being afraid, believing in yourself, dressing in your best attire, loving more and worshipping the God who has made it all possible.
In life we are dealt many obstacles, sometimes too rough to handle or to get around. If we apply just as much faith and determination that it took to made us solemn, we can do all things. All the possibilities we have stored away can still eventually become realities, even before our last days.
Life is about challenges and overcoming them.
It is a struggle, but they endure to the end, shall renew their strength.

Trey Songz' debut generally speaks for itself- "I Gotta Make It"- With enough vocal punches on this set that will solidify his sound in contemporary R&B music. He can definitely sing, which is not a question, nothing like the uber-Usher wannabes with similar signatures dance moves. Definitely a must have. The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has even placed her stamp on him and the album as well in an introduction and an outro. Highlights: "I Gotta Make It" feat. Twista (title cut), "Gotta Go" and "Make Love Tonight".
Mr. Anthony Hamilton returns with his sophomore studio album, garnered with sincere songs and a hopeful hot commercial success. Let's hope this time around for him, he is able to pull off another platinum-seller to add to his discography. If you really dug the old school sounds a la Bill Withers, Sam Cooke or Al Green, his crooning voice does them justice- "nobody should be worried."
Highlights: "Can't Let Go" and Pass Me Over" also "Sista Big Bones"

The Rose of Gospel deserves all the accolades as all her other sisters from the legendary gospel sensations, The Clark Sisters. Dorinda Clark-Cole, the underrated voice of today and in traditional gospel history. Who can sleep on her sound, she definitely knows how to work her tunes around any song. Check this out! Highlights: "So Many Times", " Nobody But God" and "Everything He Promised".
The Princess of Hip Hop/Soul, Ashanti, puts together all her chart-topping "Collectibles" on this set with a few collaborations to go along. (Ja Rule, Charli Baltimore, Cadillac Tah, Free {formerly of 106&Park}) After a little hiatus for her label, The Inc. Records, courtesy of Universal/Def Jam, we can expect more music from this starlet. Highlights: "Focus (Remix)" , "Breakup 2 Makeup" and "Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)"J. Moss needs not any introduction on this "project". He comes also from a family of harmonious voices. The cousin to the world renowned gospel female quartet, The Clark Sisters, son of Bill Moss (of Bill Moss and the Celestials) and the nephew of the late Mattie Moss Clark. It doesn't get any better than that and this CD does not disappoint from start to finish. I could list the entire album as all hits which is rare. Definitely the best gospel male vocalist of 2005. Highlights include: "Work Your Faith (studio version), "Psalms 150", " We Must Praise", "Don't Pray and Worry", "The More I Think and "Unto Thee".
